The 7th Growth Net Summit 6-7 June, 2019

The 7th Growth Net Summit convened by the Ananta Centre and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to be held on 6 – 7 June 2019 at The Taj Palace Hotel, Sardar Patel Marg, New Delhi.

The Growth Net is a unique meeting for the emerging market countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America to jointly shape their future and advance common objectives. We also have participation from the developed economies considering their impact and role in the global economy.

The Summit, started in 2013, has grown over the years and emerged as a platform to connect with the entrepreneurial and technological dynamism of emerging economies. The participants meet to exchange ideas and information, build mutual trust and develop a long-term agenda for future cooperation.

The agenda, this year, includes emerging trends & dynamics of global trade; leveraging technology to create new markets; generating the talents and skills for the digital economy; geopolitical risks for business and mitigation strategies; Industry 4.0; mobile economy; synergies between Start Ups and MNCs; impact of China’s policies on emerging markets; advanced technologies like Big Data, A.I. automation etc. which are some of the key topics impacting the emerging markets. In this regard, your keynote address at this Summit would be very special.

The last Summit held in 2018 brought together more than 60 speakers and 200 delegates from 15 countries including Ministers and senior officials, business and political leaders, economists, media persons and thought-leaders who shared insights and brainstormed on issues critical for generating and sustaining momentum in most emerging economies.

Piyush Goyal, Minister for Finance, Railways and Coal, Government of India delivered the inaugural address at this Summit. The meeting also featured keynote address by Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas; and Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship; Suresh Prabhu, Minister for Commerce and Industry; Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of State for Housing & Urban Affairs; Subhash Chandra Garg, Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance and Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog.
