Voluntary contributions to Armed Forces Flag Day Fund

e-Notice

Kendriya Sainik Board (KSB) is the apex body of Government of India and is responsible to ensure implementation of Government policies and schemes for the welfare of Ex-servicemen (ESM) and their families. The Board has Hon’ble Raksha Mantri as its President and other members include Chief Ministers of States/UTs, three Service Chiefs and other dignitaries. Secretary KSB heads the Secretariat of the Board and manages the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF). These funds are utilised to run a large number of welfare schemes for ESM, martyrs’ widows, as well as their dependents. A list of schemes under implementation by the KSB is attached as Appendix.

Embassy of India Stockholm requests the members of the Indian Diaspora to make generous contributions to the AFFDF as a token of their solidarity and recognition of valuable contributions made by the Armed Forces to the Nation.

Contributions to the AFFDF can be made using any of the following means:

a) By cheque/demand draft drawn in favour of Armed Forces Flag Day Fund

b) Online through RTGS/NEFT. Bank details are as under:

ii) Name of Bank : Punjab National Bank

iii) Account Number : 3083000100179875

iv) IFS Code : PUNB0308300

c) Online through website of KSB: http://www.ksb.gov.in/FundPayment.htm

All contributions so received will be used for the genuine welfare activities of the needy ESM community, in its entirety.
