IAutoConnect 2016: Reverse Buyers Sellers Meet from 6-7 October 2016, Gurgaon, India.

1. Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), the apex body representing the auto component industry in India, with a membership of over 750 companies, represents the industry on a number of Government panels and interacts with international agencies to promote business linkages between companies in India and overseas.

2. The turnover of the auto component industry in India was INR 2340 billion (US $38.5 billion) for the period April 2014 to March 2015, registering a growth of 11% over the previous year with a Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 11% over the last six years.

3. The 'Automotive Mission Plan 2026' of the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Government of India, envisages an auto component industry of US $200 billion with exports of US $80 billion. With increasing vehicle parc in the country, it is expected that the Indian Automotive Aftermarket will grow between 10-15% CAGR and cross US $12 billion by 2026 from its current level.

4. Considering the emergent opportunities in the Aftermarket, ACMA, with the support of the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, is organizing IAutoConnect 2016, a one of its kind event, on 6-7 October 2016. The objective of this event is to provide ACMA member companies a platform to showcase their product offerings and manufacturing excellence to further enhance component exports globally.

5. This event would witness a congregation of over 150 Automotive buyers/distribution houses from countries like Iran, Africa, Central & Eastern Europe (CEE), CIS, ASEAN, West Asia, Japan etc. and over 200 Indian auto component suppliers participating to meet the above buyers.
