India and Sweden sign MoU on Intellectual Property

A Memorandum of Understanding concerning cooperative activities in the field of Intellectual Property was signed in Stockholm on 01 September 2017 between the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of the Republic of India, and the Swedish Patent and Registration Office of the Kingdom of Sweden. The MoU was signed by Ambassador of India Monika Kapil Mohta and Director-General of the Swedish Patent and Registration Office Susanne ås Sivborg.

The MoU will help IP Offices of both the Countries to expand and strengthen their national Intellectual Property (IP) systems by working together to promote innovation, creativity, technological advancement, exchange of best practices and fostering Intellectual Property awareness for mutual advantage.
