A high-level delegation from Andhra Pradesh visited Sweden on February 8-9, 2018.  It was led by Mr. Preetam Reddy, Special Representative to the Government, and included Mr. Siddharth Jain, Commissioner Industries; Ms. Malathy Swaminathan, Associate Director, Economic Development Board; and Ms. Jyotsna M, Economic Development Board.  The objective of the visit was to showcase investment and business opportunities in Andhra Pradesh and also to invite Swedish Government and companies to participate in the 24th edition of the “Partnership Summit” being held from 24-26 February 2018 in Andhra Pradesh. 

The Mission, in collaboration with Sweden-India Business Council (SIBC) organized an Investors Roundtable on 8 February 2018 at Elite Hotel Plaza, Stockholm. Mr. Robin Sukhia, Secretary General and President, SIBC, moderated the Investors Roundtable. Several CEOs and top representatives participated in the event including reputed Swedish companies ABB, Absorbtech, Atlas Copco, Bactiguard, Brandie, Business Sweden, EMPE Diagnosis, Envac, Envito, IVL-Swedish Environmental Research Institute, Polyamp, Saab, Sobi, Sontech, Sweco, Tetra Pak, and Truecaller.
